- Sorry I don't own one but here is the data I have been able to dig up.
-
- Made by Micro Technology Unlimited c. early 1980 or maybe late 1979. Versions
- for Pet and later for AIM65 and CBM systems.
-
- 1980 Address: 841 Galaxy Way Manchester NH 03108 603-627-1464
- 1981 Address: 2806 Hillsborough Stree, P.O Box 12106 Raleigh NC 27605
- 919-833-1458.
-
- This unit had 8K bytes worth of 1Kx4 static RAMs. (The same type as in the PET)
- It was a dual ported card with cpu getting one port, display getting the other.
- When not being used as display it could serve as more memory. On the
- PET basic couldn't use the memory directly but machine language could, on
- the AIM it was in basic's address space. Interface was through routines
- referenceable from basic and machine language. I have seen pictures
- of the output and sample basic routines in some old Micro ads. One basic
- instruction seems to be wedged in with several numeric options. The AIM version
- also could output text at 52 characters by 22 lines.
